“Newspaper!! Newspaper!! Get your Barack Obama approved newspaper here!!” Since when did the government get a say in what was reported in the news or for the bigger issue, HOW it is reported. From the start of this country, the news has been reported BY the people, FOR the people. Today the White House issued a statement about FOX news saying “they're not really a news station. ... It's not just their commentators, but a lot of their news programming. It's really not news. It's pushing a point of view” Is this supposed to be a “news flash” for me? This is what news agencies do.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference, and impart information and ideas through any media regardless of frontiers"
Most of educated America realizes that Fox tends to support more of the Republican views and CNN tends to be more Democratic in their opinions. After the media, who were the sole reason Obama was elected, has a different opinion than the White House, Obama decides to act like a nine year old and whine about it. He didn’t mind the media pushing him past McCain when he had done nothing to merit this other than being born black. He didn’t mind when the media bad mouthed Bush for his foreign policies. And he surely didn’t mind it when the media quieted the rumors of his lack of citizenship. Now that he has to hear someone else’s opinion on shows like Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity he has an epiphany, and decides that he can have them silenced by declaring that they are “not a news station?” What is he thinking?
Once again Barack Obama proves the point that I have been trying to make for months. “If you disagree with him you are prejudice or blatantly wrong.” He will let you know what is best for you. If all of America would just sit back and quit thinking, this will be much less painful. People!! Have we forgotten that the freedom of the press is a Constitutional RIGHT? The White House sent their administration’s message on Afghanistan, health care, and the economy to ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN but decided not to include FOX. This is willful censorship by the White House.
The Virginia Declaration of Rights (1776) proclaimed that "the freedom of the press is one of the greatest bulwarks of liberty and can never be restrained but by despotic governments."
What an action packed nine months this is turning out to be. In defense of our press I propose that we start our “Countdown to Socialism”.

2. Government run Insurance
3. Government say-so in the Auto Industry
4. Government editing of the Press
Read fast my friends. If the administration reads this they are likely to pull the plug on this blog!!!!!
